Supportive Employment Services

FRIENDS of Coastal GA LLC provides an employment services component to assist and support individuals with disabilities to locate gainful employment while building confidence and teaching the skills necessary to achieve their employment goals.

SERVICES

Participants in this program are provided the following:

  • 1:1 sessions to focus on each individual's employment preferences, employment plans, and goals

  • Support in seeking and securing employment

  • Resume development

  • Job interview skills and preparation

  • On/Off site job coaching

  • Ongoing support services to ensure individuals maintain productive employment

Eligibility

To become eligible for Supportive Employment Services, the following criteria must be met:

  • Individual must be age 18 and above. However, high school students between ages 15-17 will be considered based upon their after school/weekend availability.

  • Individual has a medically documented physical or mental impairment that limits physical and/or mental functioning.

  • Physical/mental impairment presents a considerable barrier to inhibit employment.

  • Currently receives SSI or SSDI

  • Individual would significantly benefit from Vocational Rehabilitation Services

  • Individual has a desire to seek and retain employment

How to Apply

If you are interested in this service, please complete the attached PDF fillable form manually or online. All completed forms must be emailed to info@friendsofcoastalga.com or faxed to 888-558-9897. Individuals can also self-refer or complete a referral form with a health professional or vocational rehabilitation representative.
